Take part as a Survivor

Survivors are our guests of honour. If you've ever been diagnosed with cancer you are invited to attend Relay For Life.

The Survivors' Lap of Honour

Cancer Survivors of all ages are invited to start the Relay as our guests of honour by walking the first lap. They are cheered on and supported by family, friends and teams from the community who have come together to celebrate their achievements. Every Relay will also have other Survivorship activities for Survivors to be a part of should they wish to.

Some Survivors simply attend the opening ceremony, while others decide to join in the Relay and take the opportunity to meet people and make new friends.

Join Relay For Life as a Survivor

We would like to invite you to your nearest Relay. To join Relay For Life as a Survivor find your nearest venue and follow the links provided to register online. You can also talk to the committee of your local Relay about being involved – their contact details are on the venue pages too.

Once you have registered, you will receive a welcome pack containing a Survivor t-shirt and commemorative badge.

"I have been doing this now for three years and every year is better than the last! We will all keep up the good work; if it wasn't for Cancer Research UK we wouldn't be here."
Elaine Rinn, East Kilbride Relay
